There are many stages to creating a new program. The standard steps taken include having 'beta' users come in and test various areas of the program to find errors, bugs and issues that may later be a problem. This is called Beta Testing.
Private Beta is the stage right before launch when specific users are invited to participate in closed testing. This means that there are things that may not work properly yet and means that some things may not even be created yet although planned for future releases of the program as things progress.
Beta Testers on NuVera Online get the opportunity to share any information they have about our program working or not and participate by using the program before it goes live to the general public. It is anticipated that testers post in forums or use bug reporting systems built into the program to let the developers know what is working, what is not, what is fun and what is not.
The feedback received from the Beta Testers group encourages the program to be built faster and more efficient as knowing where the problems are helps the developers correct them sooner.

Applying for the Private Beta puts you on a list with others that also wish to participate. At some point you will get an invite but this may not be immediate. Using the comment area and explaining what experience(s) you have with Beta Testing, what you can offer by way of experience with the specific type of program you are applying for and any additional knowledge you feel would be helpful to the developers will often get you an invite sooner than others. If you have any previous experience with 3D modeling or 2D texturing it would be helpful if you could provide a link to your work.

There is no cost to you when using a Private or Closed Beta. Usually you are given perks while in the Beta Testing stage to assist with your progression through the program which helps the developers. NuVera Online has a membership option and you will be given free access to the Member's only areas before the program goes live which gives you an advantage over others.

NuVera Online will be in Private Beta until the program is stable and the developers feel it is ready to go live. This could be a few to several months, depending on the amount of feedback received from the Beta Testers and how quickly the fixes to any bugs are made.
